Challenge:
Cooke's Fine Foods and
Coffee is one of Canada's oldest retailers with over a 140-year
history dating back to 1865.
Cooke's was seeking a complete re-branding of their corporate
identity, creation of a print, TV, direct mail and point of
purchase advertising campaign, a brand standards manual and the
redesign of all their marketing collateral, to support their growth
in both stores as well as their nationally known coffee and gift
baskets.
Solution:
Under a very ambitious timeline, Marketing Breakthroughs created a
nation-wide direct mail
campaign, redesigned all of Cooke's cards and packaging,
created print ads for local and regional
newspapers, print ads for magazine publications, a stylish
tourism brochure that was sent to all regional hotels, Christmas
poster, POS signage and display materials, radio advertising for
local and regional markets, and television advertising for local
and regional markets. The crowning touch was the design and
production of an attractive trade show exhibit that was used for
local and regional fairs.
Results:
This dramatically increased exposure and vibrant new corporate
branding propelled Cooke's to the next level and gained them new
customers, more business in addition to an attractive new
image.
