Microsoft Interviews MB's Own Dave Delage

Microsoft contacted MB because of its web marketing expertise and its reputation as a highly successful marketing firm in Ottawa, specializing in marketing plans, SEO, and web marketing.

In the interview, Dave outlined some of the benefits of online marketing, such as its:

Whether it's at home or from their Blackberry or iPhone, customers are looking online for information and products. Dave pointed out that advertising on portable web devices will likely increase in the next little while. "I think online marketers are going to start targeting these users with compelling little bits of 'drive-through' information," he says.

People on the web want their information fast. They click through to new web pages in seconds, and they only the relevant bits that Dave refers to as "drive-through information." Advertisers have to make sure that their Internet ads feature website design that's optimized for this type of information absorption.

Dave's experience with the web goes back to his teens, when he ran a small BBS system. Since then, his experience has covered a diverse range of projects for clients, including the Canadian Judicial Council, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Microsoft, Casio, and Suzuki. He now lends his web marketing expertise to Marketing Breakthroughs as our Senior Project and Web Marketing Manager.
