November 20, 2009 - Marketing Breakthroughs staff members put a lot of time into the 12th Annual Ottawa Celebrity Sports Dinner, and on November 18, they were given their just desserts.

Steve Klein, MB CEO & Creative Director worked throughout the evening to coordinate the event. Meanwhile, Graphic Designer Elise Goodhoofd, who contributed her design skills to the dinner, got to kick back and enjoy her evening from the Marketing Breakthroughs table.

"There were so many elements to the evening, it was great to see them all come together so smoothly," Goodhoofd said. "There was outstanding branding for the whole event."

Blue and red table signs greeted all the dinner guests as they sat down to enjoy a delicious meal featuring a succulent roast and a sweet hazelnut-chocolate dessert.

Stuart Ages, Paramount Properties Vice-President and Chair of the OCSD expressed his appreciation for Marketing Breakthroughs following the event.

"In all our wildest dreams, no one could have predicted the levels of success we accomplished Wednesday night," he said.

In addition to Klein acting as Executive Producer for this prestigious event, MB contributed its talents to updating the Sports Dinner logo, designing posters and signage, the multimedia presentation, and coordinating the event from the planning to execution.

"The event ran like clockwork," Klein said. "We had a great plan and a great team making the dinner happen."

The evening was highlighted by a keynote address from former Super Bowl MVP John Elway, and a live and silent auction of sports memorabilia and other luxurious items. Ottawa Celebrities at the event included TSN's Rod Black, CFL legend Russ Jackson, and Ottawa Senators COO Cyril Leeder.

According to the Ottawa Citizen, the approximately 700 people in attendance raised more than $175,000 for the Soloway JCC.
