MB Helps Bring Authentic New Orleans Mardi Gras to Ottawa

As part of its Event Planning
and Marketing services, Marketing Breakthroughs recently worked
alongside the Canada Retirement Information Centre to throw an
exciting, fun-filled client appreciation Mardi Gras BBQ and
Concert.
Going well beyond just providing the marketing and advertising for
the event, MB assisted with virtually every aspect of the afternoon
and evening festivities, from booking the Hellenic Banquet Centre,
to designing the invitations, to writing and distributing a press
release to local media.
In line with the event's theme, MB booked the Mumbo Jumbo Voodoo
Combo as the headlining band, with jazz trio VJ Groove booked for
the outdoor venue. There were also magicians, dancers, fire-eaters,
and stilt walkers for interactive tableside performances with all
1,100 of the event's guests.
The event was a huge success. Everyone had a great time, and many
are already looking forward to next year's celebration.
In past years, MB has organized and run Canada Retirement's
Hawaiian Summer Luau and their Wild West BBQ, which were both
Canada Retirement's unique way of saying "thank you" to its
clients, suppliers, and friends.
Working with Marketing Breakthroughs to throw these one-of-a-kind
events is helping Canada Retirement quickly solidify its reputation
for giving back to all those people who've helped them achieve
their success. MB is proud to have worked with them since 2001, and
it can't wait to be a part of what's in store for the future!
